Thanks to our know-how as well as the 7 days a week weather forecast service, we can offer reliable monitoring of measurement networks and supervision of the connected databases.

NABEL

The Swiss National Air Pollution Monitoring Network (NABEL) consists of 16 measurement stations that are distributed over Switzerland and represent the major exposure situations. On behalf of the FOEN, METEOTEST supervises the NABEL control center (database, server and software), performs measurement data analyses and reports, e.g. monthly and yearly reports or current measurement data on the internet and on teletext (SF, TSR and RSI page 666).

EUROAIRNET

In the scope of the project EUROAIRNET METEOTEST yearly gathers and processes measurement data from Swiss air quality measurement stations of the FOEN and the cantons. The immission measurement data of the different networks are processed uniformly and analyzed statistically. Subsequently, the data is transferred to the  European Topic Centre on Air and Climate Change (ETC/ACC) on behalf of the FOEN. The ETC/ACC assembles all European data in a database – the so-called AIRBASE.
