We produce climatological maps which visualize many meteorological parameters, for example:

• Statistical wind maps: With a geostatistical interpolation procedure we produce wind maps for large areas or countries, e.g. the whole Alpine region (on the right), Switzerland, Bosnia or Nicaragua. These are utilized for site prospection in connection with wind power projects.
• Physical wind maps: For smaller regions we employ the Computational Fluid Dynamics model WindSim, which we also use for wind modeling in wind assessments.
• Solar irradiation maps
• Reanalysis: With the meteorological model WRF we re-calculate the small-scale weather for a certain period in the past. From the results we can deduct data and maps for any meteorological parameter.
