Geodata models provide standardized documentation and description of geodata structures. The Swiss Law on Geoinformation (2008) governs data modeling of Switzerland's public geodata sets. Our services in this field include the design of complete geodata models including descriptive texts, object catalogues, UML-diagrams as well as a formal description in INTERLIS. Additionally, we provide testing for the models, eg. by INTERLIS data transfers with FME.

We provide support for authorities wishing to establish geodata models, by compiling the semantic description and the models in INTERLIS and by participating in the respective user sessions which provide feedback to the modeling process. We can build on our experience from geomodeling projects for several Swiss Federal Offices.
