Current Air Pollution in Switzerland
On behalf of the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment we hourly produce a map showing the distribution of ozone and particulate matter in Switzerland. Please select the desired view:

The procedure followed does not allow interpretations at small scale. As a result, concentrations may locally be higher or lower than the mean values shown on the maps.

METEOTEST has produced further web applications for the Swiss government as well as several cantons that show the current air pollution:
The air pollution maps are based on an interpolation of current, measured data and takes several parameters that influence the air quality into consideration.
Further information concerning ozone and particulate matter can be found at ozon-info.ch and feinstaub.ch.
On behalf of the BPUK, the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment and Cercl'Air Meteotest collects the data of all air monitoring station networks in Switzerland and dispatches a press release in the case of high ozone values.
