Wind Energy

We are the specialists for wind measurements and assessments in complex terrain and under icing conditions.

Based on our wind assessments the following projects were realised in Switzerland: Mt. Soleil/Mt. Crosin (steps 1, 2 and 3), Gütsch (steps 1 and 2), St. Brais and Le Peuchapatte

Meteotest guarantees a strictly confidential and neutral treatment of all received information, data and documents as well as the established results. If desired, a confidentiality agreement can be signed with the client.

Our Services

METEOTEST offers the whole chain of wind assessment services from site selection, supply of basic data, implementation and analysis of wind measurements as well as power calculations and environmental assessments from one source. Accordingly, the number of involved contact persons and the administrative overhead in your wind power project decreases, resulting in higher efficiency and stability as well as consistency and quality of the results.

We guarantee to carefully, thouroughly and professionally carry out our services according to the state of the art as well as the relevant guidelines and standards (e.g. IEC 61400-12-1 as well as the German guidelines "Technische Richtlinien für Windenergieanlagen", part 6).

Profit from our experience from a large number of wind assessments and research projects.
